Joining Alert Groups

Step 1: Go to http://alert.gmu.edu and login.
 

Step 2: Click on the "My Alerts" tab listed across the top on your "My Mason Alert"              page.

 
   

Step 3: Click the blue bar(s) on "My Alert" tab to expand or shrink the list to review              and select the various Alert Groups. Click the "Optional Alerts" bar to review              optional alerts.

 
   

Step 4: Use the slider control to view all "Optional Alerts" bar.

 
 

Step 5: Click the check box on the right side of the Alert Group that you would like to              join. For example, for "Weather Related" information click the check box on              that line all the way to the right.

 
 

Step 6: Click the "Home" tab to return to your "My Mason Alert" page.

 
 

Step 7: Your "My Mason Alert" page will show your cell phone / email accounts &              group subscriptions.

 
 

Step 8: To test your device(s), click the "Send Test Alert" on your "My Mason Alert"              page.
