Occupational Health and Safety
The Occupational Health Office (OHO) promotes healthy work place practices and provides occupational health services to university employees in accordance with OSHA requirements and industry standards. OHO strives to reduce or eliminate illness, discomfort, and impaired health that may result from the work environment, job duties, or occupational hazards. OHO administers the university’s Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Laboratory and HBV Vaccination programs, and serves as the liaison between university and medical personnel with respect to workplace medical evaluations and surveillance. OHO also provides the following services:

- Personal Protective Equipment Selection
- Occupational Safety Training
- Workplace Audits
