Ms. Theresa Lucado
Industrial Hygienist

Ms. Lucado joined Mason's Occupational Health Office in July 2006. She earned a Bachelor degree in Geology from the College of William and Mary.  Theresa completed a Master of Science in Public Health degree with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where her capstone project evaluated the size distribution and concentration of welding fumes emitted from different welding methods.

Ms. Lucado was previously employed as an environmental consultant.  She was involved in chemical risk assessments and environmental remediation at sites with air, soil, and groundwater contamination.  In her role at George Mason University, she is responsible for conducting exposure monitoring and indoor air quality investigations, provides technical consultation for selection of personal protective equipment, and serves as program administrator for the Hearing Conservation Program and the Respiratory Protection Program.
