Ms. Tutem joined the Environmental Health and Safety Office (EHS) in September 2014 as the Administrative Specialist, supporting the EHS staff with daily office management and organization. In 2015, Ms. Tutem’s role expanded when EHS merged with the Office of Risk Management and became Safety, Emergency, and Enterprise Risk Management (SEERM). Under the new organization, Ms. Tutem provides administrative and calendaring support to the SEERM Assistant Vice President including assistance with the Enterprise Risk Management Council, Emergency Management Executive Committee, and the University Travel Advisory Committee.
Prior to joining Mason, Ms. Tutem worked for General Dynamics Corporation headquarters for 22 years as the Manager, International Compliance. She was responsible for managing 350 international consulting agreements for marketing sales support in 120 foreign countries. Ms. Tutem has extensive experience in business administration, compliance, third-party due diligence, contract administration and database management.
