Ergonomics is the study of the workplace environment and work practices, to maximize efficiency and minimize stress on the human musculoskeletal system. In an effort to reduce discomfort and risk of injury in the workplace, EHS provides George Mason University employees ergonomic self-assessment tools and professional ergonomic assessments. These services are provided at no cost to the employee.
