Environmental Compliance

EHS manages, oversees, and participates in a variety of programs that contribute to the university’s commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. Fire Safety

Fire prevention education is a vital component of our Fire Safety function. In addition to conducting routine inspections of buildings and fire suppression systems, our staff play a vital role in the education of faculty, staff, and students. Laboratory Safety

Innovative and exciting research takes place on campus every day and it is our goal to make sure it’s safe. We support educational and research activities through a range of services and are committed to educating faculty, staff, and students about safe laboratory practices. Occupational Health

EHS strives to reduce or eliminate illness, discomfort, and impaired health that may result from work environments, job duties, or occupational hazards. We work closely with the university community to provide guidance and appropriate training to university personnel. Occupational Safety

EHS promotes safe workplace practices in accordance with OSHA requirements and industry standards.
