Biological Safety

The biological safety program at George Mason University is designed to protect workers, the community and the environment from hazards associated with biological materials. Principal Investigators, laboratory personnel, the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), and biosafety staff work together to implement appropriate safety controls, personal protective equipment, and safe work practices.
